Walk the quieter ramparts
From here the Wall is yours to explore—tower to tower along the restored ramparts, mountains rolling away on both sides, space to breathe between the crowds. Your guide points out the garrison stories the signboards leave out, and finds the angles where the Wall rides the ridgeline to the horizon.
Toboggan down, then a quick lunch
Come down the way you like—the cable car again, or the exhilarating toboggan run that curves through the trees on its own metal track. Then it's time to refuel: lunch isn't included, but we'll recommend the local restaurants we trust for a quick, good meal that keeps the day on track.
